Special Issue Information

Environmental systems are increasingly being monitored and managed using intelligent digital tools. Artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, remote sensing, GIS, IoT, smart sensors, automation, robotics, and big data analytics are transforming the way pollution is detected, assessed, predicted, and controlled. This Special Issue focuses on the application of such advanced technologies to air, water, soil, waste, climate, and ecosystem-related environmental problems.

Authors are invited to submit manuscripts that offer methodological innovation, practical applications, modelling approaches, decision-support frameworks, or policy-relevant analysis in the broad field of environmental monitoring and pollution control.

Aim and Scope

This Special Issue welcomes papers that examine how artificial intelligence and emerging technologies can improve environmental surveillance, pollution assessment, treatment efficiency, resource optimization, risk forecasting, and sustainability planning. Contributions may be theoretical, methodological, empirical, or application-oriented.
